How I Read
I consider myself to be an intuitive tarot reader which means that while I certainly consider the learned or published meanings of the cards, I also read them based on what they tell me personally in each reading. I often find them to be something for the conscious mind to focus on while the unconscious mind receives needed messages and information. The same card can come up in 3 different readings and it's very possible that I will interpret the card in three different ways based on what that specific reading is about and who it is for. There are times when I feel that a card will be telling me something that is not at all what it is known for revealing and I'll just go with that message instead. After all, every person is different and therefore every reading is different. I enjoy doing structured spreads for various topics, but I also find that many of my readings are more free form. I will often select a certain number of cards and let them tell me the story about whatever the client's question or concern is. I currently use the Rider-Waite deck for my readings.
